About Mikole and Carrie
Mike has traveled the world throughout his thirty year career as an entertainer. He's played with the best in the entertainment business, including Johnny Hammond, Russ Freeman, Ti Lavitz, the Chicago 6, Brian Nova, the Rancho Santa Fe Band (led by former IAJE President Jack Wheaton), the John Tru Bank, Brooks Big Band, David Benoit, Billy Larkins, Otis Rush, Cash McCall, Bonnie Bramlett and Ray Crawford..
Mikole's sound has been acclaimed by both musicians and critics. Bennie Maupin of the Miles Davis Band say this about him: "You hear guys trying to play like this. Timeless, his stuff comes off the dome!". Tommy Newsome from the Tonight Show Band says this: "Very enjoyable, very accessible music to the listener."
Carrie Landsgaard, Mikole's vocalist is from Southern California and has performed across the United States and the world. She recently played with premiere jazz players in places like Disneyland's exclusive Club 33 at the Millenium Celebration, at the Windham Emerald Plaza International Hotel in San Diego, at the Four Seasons Aviara and at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Springs / Rancho Mirage.
Carrie has a number of critics that are fans, including Cynthia Hammond of Radio Station Jazz88, KSDS 88.3 FM in San Diego. Here's what she says about Carrie: "Carrie Landsgaard is one of the rising jazz vocalists in San Diego. Her sound is smooth, crisp and fresh as a morning sunrise."
