Todd Hodulik (pronounced Hud-lick) was born in Encino, California and grew up in Palos Verdes, California. Todd was inspired by the music of Pat Metheny, Pat Martino and their improvisational music. After he discovered the music of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, he incorporated a massive sound into his live music using a combination of vintage fender amps, Leslie speakers and "old school" analog pedals along with his 335. After graduating from high school, he spent time playing / touring with various funk and rock bands until he settled into the Musician's Institute where he earned his degree from G.I.T.
