In 1956, and with founders to include Desi Arnaz, Indian Wells Country Club became the third golf and country club in the valley and was immediately known as “The Fun Club of The Desert.”   50 acres of prime land nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains became the home of this very prestigious club and the playground to many celebrities and dignitaries through the years.
