Desert Experiences

Our Desert Experiences includes The Old Mining Camp, Cahuilla Indian Village and Palm Oasis. If you're thinking of getting married in the desert at sunrise or sunset, this can make your wedding something different, something you and your guests will always remember. These three Desert Experiences offer 1000 acres for your wedding, reception, private party or corporate event.

OLD MINING CAMP

Let your guests experience the Wild-West as they explore "Faultline, Californy," a replica of the Wild West mining camps from the late 1800s. Guests at the Old Mining Camp can learn about the colorful local history and legends of an era when the settlers came here searching for freedom and their fortune.

The Old Mining Camp features a covered dining area that accomodates up to 200 guests, with additional uncovered seating space for up to 1,000 guests. There is a dance floor, stage, Mining Town with assessor's office, a livery stable, walk-up saloon, lock-up jail, bank, and a "safe to enter" authentic gold mine with equipment and local photos from 100 years past.

The Old Mining Camp has breathtaking views of the entire Coachella Valley, ranging from the Salton Sea to Mount San Jacinto. Behind the camp, miles of trails exist for guest exploration by foot, bicycle or jeep.

CAHUILLA INDIAN VILLAGE

cahuilla indian villageThe Cahuilla Indian Village, a historically and culturally accurate recreated Indian village, is located on an authentic archeological site of an ancient Cahuilla Village.

This facility offers two dining and entertainment areas, including an upper and a lower level. The lower level of the Village offers a small stage and covered eating area for 40 people (additional uncovered seating for up to 250 guests).

The upper level features an Indian Village built using the same techniques originally used by the Cahuilla Indians 2000 years ago. The Village features sparkling pools and a running stream, including views of valley lights and a natural palm oasis to complete the scene.
